At CNA, diversity and inclusion is a core value. We seek to forge strong, innovative relationships with qualified businesses owned and operated by people of diverse backgrounds. Supplier diversity ensures that diverse businesses have an equitable opportunity to compete for and win our business.

CNA’S SUPPLIER DIVERSITY PROGRAM

CNA’s Supplier Diversity Program includes the following classifications for diverse suppliers:

  • Minority-Owned Business Enterprise
  • Women-Owned Business Enterprise
  • Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise
  • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise
  • People With Disability-Owned Business Enterprise
  • LGBT-Owned Business Enterprise

CNA’s Supplier Diversity Program includes certification by one or more of these organizations:

According to the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC), minority group members are United States citizens who are Asian, Black, Hispanic or Native American. Additionally, ownership by minority individuals means the business is at least 51% owned by such individuals or, in the case of a publicly-owned business, at least 51% of the stock is owned by one or more such individuals (i.e. the management and daily operations are controlled by those minority group members).

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION

The Supplier Diversity program is administered by CNA’s Procurement division and is embedded as part of its Supplier Relationship Management Program. For additional information about CNA’s Supplier Diversity Program, please contact suppliers@cna.com. Prospective suppliers should register their company information via the link below. Doing so does not guarantee the business will receive a contract or request to bid, or confer any preferred supplier status.
