“One thing that insureds need to understand when they pivot their operations to manufacture and/or distribute PPE is that they have to meet Health Canada requirements,” says Prasad on ‘Canada’s Plan to Mobilize Industry to fight COVID-19’.

“We’ve seen a lot of companies across Canada pivot their operations to produce hand sanitizer. That can really impact their exposure,” commented Ruth Stewart, Senior Risk Control Consultant, Healthcare.
