CNA is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture that supports our organization, clients, and communities by prioritizing talent and programs that represent our current environment and empower all employees and partners to be active allies and advocates for equality.
OUR JOURNEY
At CNA, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is a journey that never ends. Our DEI framework consists of an ever-evolving strategy led by our DEI Council and heavily influenced by our Employee Resource Groups. That strategy includes company-wide DEI initiatives such as a year-long Company of Allies program that delivered allyship education to all leaders and employees across the globe and all-employee sessions designed to fuel courageous conversations. Our mentoring and reverse mentoring programs, Talent Sponsorship program, volunteer opportunities, and inclusive leadership trainings advance CNA’s culture of inclusion by providing employees with resources to learn, connect and grow — to institutionalize allyship at CNA and beyond.
OUR DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION COUNCIL
CNA’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Council is key to driving our DEI vision. Led by our Chief Executive Officer and comprised of influential senior leaders, the Council drives connection with our colleagues across the organization in support of our DEI agenda. Specifically, the Council:
- Defines enterprise-level opportunities to further our culture of inclusion and sets the priorities and actions that effectively align with our overall business strategy
- Seeks management and employee perspectives on DEI initiatives to ensure our programs deliver optimal impact
- Tracks overall progress toward an increasingly inclusive work environment
Our Employee Resource Groups
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are a central part of CNA’s DEI strategy. By elevating the voices of underrepresented employee groups and championing DEI initiatives, they foster a sense of belonging for all employees. To learn more about each ERG’s mission and vision, select the names below and watch their 2-minute highlight video! Available in English only.

Our commitment doesn’t stop with our internal colleagues.
