Dahlia Tessler

Dahlia Tessler is Vice President, Legal, Risk & Compliance at CNA Canada.  In this role, she leads the Canadian Legal function and oversees compliance and risk management, serving as both Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer.  Dahlia provides legal and regulatory advice to the Canadian business and plays a central role in shaping policy frameworks that support CNA Canada’s strategic objectives and growth.

  

Dahlia brings extensive experience in insurance and financial services, most recently as Associate General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at AIG Canada, where she led legal and regulatory initiatives and drove operational improvements. Her earlier roles include Legal Counsel at RBC, focusing on secured lending, securitization, and consumer regulatory matters, and practicing corporate and commercial law at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, advising domestic and international clients in the financial services sector.

 

Dahlia holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies (B.A.C.S.) from Western University.
