TORONTO, October 31, 2023 – CNA Canada is proud to announce our corporate sponsorship of the McGannon Foundation, a Canadian charitable foundation dedicated to risk management education.

The McGannon Foundation offers a Student Involvement Program for post-secondary students enrolled  in risk management, insurance or related programs. CNA Canada’s sponsorship provided students with the opportunity to attend the annual RIMS Canada Conference, to learn about risk management and insurance through educational sessions and network with industry professionals.

About the McGannon Foundation:

The William H. McGannon Foundation (the Foundation) was established following the release of a study by the RIMS Canada Council in 1999 that evaluated the need for a Canadian organization to support risk management education and advance the profession of risk management in Canada.

The Foundation was established to provide resources in the form of scholarships, research grants and student involvement to advance risk management by way of education, research, mentorship and work experience programs.
