CNA Canada Renews Partnerships with Junior Achievement of Canada

Toronto, January 31, 2023 - CNA Canada is proud to announce our renewed partnership with Junior Achievement (JA) of Canada, a global non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. The organization offers programs that focus on work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, helping students to understand their potential, set life goals and succeed at school and in business. Together, CNA Canada will be working with JA Canada, to educate Grade 8 students about financial empowerment through the Financial Literacy Program, to become more career ready through the World of Choices Program, the Stronger Together: Diversity in Action Program, promoting the importance of inclusivity in solving real-world challenges and reward an outstanding student who has taken part in the JA Central Ontario Company Program with the JA Journey Award.

With CNA Canada volunteers, the JA Financial Literacy Program will enable Grade 8 students to gain a stronger understanding of financial concept and management skills to apply in their own life to succeed in the future. The World of Choices Program will empower Grade 10-12 students to succeed in designing career paths and developing the skills to meet tomorrow’s challenges. The Stronger Together: Diversity in Action Program supports students in grades 6-8 to learn the value of diversity and how it contributes to improving morale, creativity, teamwork, and productivity.

The JA Journey Awards, sponsored by CNA Canada, will be presented to the Company Program student who has demonstrated personal growth as a result of their participation in the program. This year, the award is an opportunity for CNA Canada and JA Central Ontario to promote amazing JA stories and celebrate the students’ unique achievements.

"We are greatly appreciative of CNA Canada’s continued partnership. Their support for JA’s financial health, work-readiness, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) focused programs show their commitment to the success of Canada’s future generation.
