CNA Canada partners with JA Central Ontario

Toronto, June 8, 2020 - CNA Canada is proud to announce our partnership with Junior Achievement Central Ontario. Junior Achievement is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating elementary, middle and high school students with programs that focus on work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. Armed with this knowledge, JA provides students with the opportunity to learn and grow into future leaders.  Over the coming months, CNA looks forward to expanding its relationship with JA across Canada in order to support more students.

CNA will reward an outstanding student who has taken part in the JA Central Ontario Company Program with the JA Journey Award.

The JA Journey Award, sponsored by CNA Canada, will be presented to a Company Program student from JA’s Central Ontario charter who has demonstrated personal growth as a result of their participation in the program. The award is an opportunity for CNA Canada and JA Central Ontario to promote amazing JA stories and celebrate the students’ unique achievements.

“We’re delighted to showcase the achievements of our remarkable students with the support of CNA,” says Jane Eisbrenner, President & CEO of JA Central Ontario. “Every year, our Company Program attracts hard-working and ambitious young students from our region and helps teach them important life skills – setting them up for the world of work. The JA Journey Award is a vital part of celebrating these achievements and showcasing the opportunities for growth and development this program offers high school students.”

“We’re thrilled about our partnership, and through support and volunteer efforts, together we will make a positive impact. CNA has a longstanding tradition of supporting local nonprofit organizations that work tirelessly to improve the quality of life in our local communities,” says Nick Creatura, President & CEO of CNA Canada. “Investing in education ensures that future generations have job security and equal opportunities for success. CNA’s investment prepares and supports a strong pipeline of talent potentially flowing into the insurance industry.”

For more than 100 years, CNA has taken great pride in its commitment to give back to the diverse communities where they live and work. By focusing its resources, CNA has the power to make a real difference in the lives of many people.
