Rob Herron

Rob Herron is the Vice President, Construction at CNA Canada, leading the Construction segment nationally. In this role, he is accountable for underwriting excellence across the construction portfolio and for driving clear, consistent strategy and execution coast to coast. He collaborates closely with CNA’s global leadership, strengthening international partnerships and ensuring Canada’s construction capabilities align with enterprise priorities.

Since joining CNA in 2019, Rob’s leadership and technical depth have helped deliver innovation and sustained growth within the organization. Widely recognized across Canada’s construction insurance market, he is known for a collaborative, transformational leadership style that motivates teams, sharpens underwriting discipline, and builds enduring broker partnerships.

Prior to CNA, Rob held leadership roles with a multinational insurer in the contracting and construction space, including serving as Account Executive Officer, Construction at Travelers Canada, experience that continues to inform his pragmatic, client focused approach to complex risks.

Outside of work, Rob is an active volunteer in his community, coaching his children’s baseball and hockey teams.
