In support of CNA Canada's broker, MIG Insurance Group, the CNA Foundation recently donated $2,500 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes research. In addition, the Canadian government's Federal Economical Development Agency matched the amount for JDRF's Canadian Clinical Trial Network. "A multitude of 'thank yous' to CNA," said Dorothy Ross, Regional Manager of JDRF. "What a great way to kick start the year! We truly appreciate your generous support." Since its founding in 1970, JDRF has awarded more than $1.6 billion to diabetes research. Past JDRF efforts have helped to significantly advance the care of people with this disease, and have expanded the critical scientific understanding of T1D. More than 80 percent of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education. If you would like to support the organization's mission, please visit the JDRF website . With our combined support, JDRF is one step closer to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. Thank you for your generosity.
